Venezia - Palazzo Ducale / Doge's Palace
One of the icon monuments of the city, the Doge's Palace is constructed around 9th century, during the transfer of the seat of the Doge in Venice.
In a Perfect gothic style it looks directly to the Sanit Mark's square and the Civic Museum of Venice, one of the most visited places in the world.
Once the Doge's Palace used to represent the center of the poliyical activity of Venice and where there used to administrate justice. The famous "Piombi" jails where the legendary Giacomo Casanova once was prisoned is found under the roofs of Doge's Palace.
